Yes, it's been awhile. I've been busy - work's been challenging, but I like the people I work with. Benefits will be kicking in in a few weeks (Woot! Massages are covered!); I'll be going off to my BF's cottage for a few days for Thanksgiving; and my BF and I have plans to go visit Toronto Island this weekend.
Life should be good. It's not perfect, but life is never perfect. One day at a time, right?
All things considered, I'm a happy person. I bought my first ever smartphone. I finally decided on a Blackberry Torch, the older model with the keyboard. I know I'm pretty behind the times, but I'm glad I finally caught up to it. Sort of. I don't doubt that it would run away from me yet again.

Also, I'm going back to the Philippines after three years. Last time I was there was December 2008. The next time will be December 2011. Hopefully I'll have a great time there. A lot of my Fil-Chi friends have moved back, so no doubt I won't lack for company. Between them, my high school friends, and my university friends, this coming vacation is bound to be much happier than 2008.
My-oh-my, how times have changed!
