I'm enjoying myself so far - even though nothing's happened. We took business class on the way over, so it was a stress-free flight. Remarkable how few people use the toilets in business class... Less people in the cabins due to one seat taking up two spots' worth.
The Philippines, as much as I had missed it, is the crazy, harried, sticky place it's always been. There's way too many people; it's far too hot; and, sadly, there's not as many choices in the supermarket. But then again, there's the positives. I.e., I am about to have a manicure and pedicure done at home right after a massage in my bedroom...
I'm hoping to see my friends soon. Family and friends - they would be the highlight of my trip.
